Nesting

We've spent the past week living in a huge mess because we were getting our house painted. It's been really hard because I'm in that "nesting" stage of the pregnancy where I want everything to be clean and organized so that when the baby comes we only have to focus on her. It really is rough not being able to use my kitchen and sleeping on a bed in the middle of the room surrounded by dressers and tvs. 

On the plus side, our now fully painted house looks amazing! Our living room used to be pretty dark.  It looked like this:

and now it's brighter and looks a lot bigger.

This is my favorite room in the house now! I've found some art that I really like for the walls in here.  I'm planning on ordering it in the next couple of weeks.

We are still working on moving furniture back and cleaning up the mess, but we've come a long way so far.

The green looks really pretty on the wall next to our dining room table.

The other side of the formal living room was boring.  After adding that green wall we bought some new throw pillows to bring some more color into the room.

Even our bedroom feels so much different with paint on the walls. It feels a lot more like a home.

I'm so happy to have it finished. We haven't even started moving stuff back into place upstairs yet. We're working on it little by little after work each night. I can't wait until our house is all put back together and we can finally relax and enjoy it all!
