Last Week...
...Monday, Isaac and I celebrated our THIRTEENTH anniversary. I asked him to the Sadie Hawkins dance on November 17, 2001, and he asked me to be his girlfriend that night. Like they say, the rest is history.
...Grace colored outside while simultaneously watching the boys play kickball.
...the Titans played on Monday Night Football, and I wasn't sure I wanted to watch the game since they've been playing so horribly this season (we're just practicing to be really good next year). I was so happy I did when they actually made it a game and even almost won. Seriously, the way this season has been going, that was like a win in my book.
...the girls snuggled and watched movies on their iPads, while I wrapped Christmas presents.
...Grace made a turkey at school (she was really bummed that she couldn't find matching pink eyes, but she said it was ok, because both eyes had pink in them), and Char made pumpkin pie in preparation for Thanksgiving.
...the girls went to dance class on Wednesday and looked cuter than ever.
(This second one really showcases their personalities...Grace the diva and Charley bringing the attitude.)
...I picked the girls up from school on Thursday, and Ms Kristen said, "you have to go see Charley!". I was scared, but when I walked in, I just found her eating blue Frozen cupcakes for her friend Valeska's birthday. I got a picture with Miss Stephaine and the other kids in the class, and they were so cute!
...we went to Lucille's for dinner with the Sebastians and had the best peach cobbler ever.
...the flyers for Santa pictures at Mikel's came out with Gracie on them, and they were SO cute. We made sure to book our appointment right away to get some new ones this year.
...we stopped at the store to get stuff for dinner, and the girls were the cutest holding hands as we walked in. I couldn't help but get choked up (what's wrong with me?!) at the thought of my ever growing love for these little beauties and their love for one another.
...Charley wore her newest shirt from Instagram that said, "Pretty Fly for a Small Fry" and her Love Sick Threads tie-dye jeans. I asked her if I could take a picture and then she wanted to take one outside and then on the swing. She's the sweetest, silliest, cutest, most lovable little stinker.
...we went to "Fake Thanksgiving" at my mom's house on Saturday since most of the family was going out of town for the holiday.
...the girls insisted on taking a picture on the reindeer before going in.
...mom had the table set so pretty and made a delicious turkey with all the fixins'.
...Char was her mischeivious self using a toy quad to press the light buttons that she couldn't reach.
...Daddy was excited about Thanksgiving dinner.
...in usual Char fashion, she passed out after dinner.
...Grace was silly while she ate her homemade key lime pie.
...my sisters came back to my house to play "Just Dance" on the Wii, and I got to snuggle with Chase and Char for a bit.
...the girls had a blast trying to play the game for the first time.
...Char watched Tangled, while I tried to nap.
...crazy Grace decided to stand right in front of the TV combing her hair instead of going to bed like she was supposed to be doing.
Exciting weeks up ahead.
See you next time :)
