Last Week...
...Grace was so excited when I picked her up from school and couldn't wait to show me what was in her homework folder. When we finally got home she excitedly told me that she was a Bucket Filler at school! A bucket filler is someone that is nice to others and says or does nice things to fill other people's buckets. She was so proud of herself, and we were proud of her, too.
...she also wrote her very first "research paper" all about Caterpillars. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Especially when Charley started telling us how she made a "calapitter" at school that day, as well.
...the girls slept in their beds as opposed to both of them being on the bottom bunk together.
...Charley worked on the beam at gymnastics on Tuesday.
...Gracie had soccer practice on Wednesday where she worked her tush off.
...Charley always wants to button Isaac's shirts up all the way and helped him out while we waited for our food at dinner.
...we saw this and got a good laugh out of it.
...Presley and Paxton came over for a sleepover, and the girls had so much fun playing with their cousins.
...Paxton was an angel and went to sleep at 6:30.
...the girls ate brownies with ice cream after dinner.
...Paxton didn't wake up when it was time to eat. Isaac made a bottle around 9pm and gave it to him in his sleep. He held it, ate it all gone, and stayed asleep until six the next morning.
...the girls on the other hand didn't want to sleep. After declaring their fort "way too hot", they made their way upstairs and giggled in bed until I yelled at them to "go to sleep" for the forth or fifth time. Finally, they all passed out around nine-thirty.
...the next morning, everyone was in a good mood, and they all played so sweetly together.
...after coloring pictures, they wanted to jump on the trampoline.
...they convinced Isaac to take them out front, where they played for the next couple of hours.
(Char said it was too bright outside.)
...this little froggy loved it when Uncle bounced him up and down.
...the girls drove around the street until we got out the bubbles.
...the Sebastians joined, and they had fun chasing these giant bubbles all over the place and racing to pop them.
...Isaac found some water balloons, so he filled them for the kiddos, and they had a blast.
...meanwhile, Mr. Paxton decided he was ready for another nap.
We had so much fun having the kids over for the night. The girls absolutely loved it, and they couldn't have been better. Such a fun week!
(Next week Char turns FOUR...say what?!)
