Happy Half-Birthday, Charley! It's hard to believe the little stinker is already six months old. She's got two bottom teeth and two top teeth. She can fully sit up, move around to get her toys, and get up on all fours. It won't be long before she's crawling around. She can stand on her own while holding onto something for support. She easily rolls back and forth from tummy to back and vice versa. She uses her feet to push her forward while on her tummy. She's pretty good at getting whatever she's after, and is easily able to put everything in her mouth. She likes peaches and pears (when they're warm). At her six month wellness check-up, Charley weighed in at fifteen pounds and four ounces. (That's four whole pounds less than Grace weighed at this age!) She is twenty-five inches long. Surfrider Beach

After we left the zoo, we headed back to the condo and hung out inside. The girls begged us to go play on the beach, and who are we to say no to them on vacation? We all got our swim suits on, and went to play in the waves on Surfrider Beach. We had brought our own beach gear along, but they had a lot more at the condo, which was perfect. The girls brought along some sand toys, and threw them down to run into the water immediately. Perry and I got our stuff all set up, and she chilled under the big umbrella, while Daddy helped sisters find seashells. This seagull kept walking right up to us, and he was getting a little too close for comfort with the baby laying there. The girls had such a blast playing in the waves. This beach was pretty flat, and the water would go out far before coming back in. This allowed them to walk far out into the sand, and they loved running back when the water started rolling back in. It's Raining, It's Pouring {in Disneyland!}

Tuesday morning was a little rainy, so we switched Char's seat around, so the girls could get a little cover while we walked to Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast. We only had to wait a few minutes before Goofy was ready for us. Charley loved him and gave him a big kiss on the nose when we said good bye. As soon as we sat down to eat, Minnie came over to greet us. Charley was having so much fun and kept making the silliest faces saying "this looks like Minnie" and "this looks like Chip and Dale". Chip came by first and the girls gave him the biggest hugs. Then, Charley started making faces like Goofy and Pluto. I have no idea where she got this from. Pluto was the best and spent a lot of time pretending to smell the girls' food and tickle them with his whiskers.
