Disney Does it Again!
Tuesday was another beautiful day in Disneyland. We started off with breakfast at the Plaza Inn, where you will find the best french toast in all the land.
At breakfast, the girls barely ate, because they were too involved with all of the characters that kept coming to our table. Minnie was the cutest with her snowflake dress.
Chip gave Grace a fist bump before Charley came flying into his arms for a giant hug.
Tigger was next and was as sweet as could be.
Captain Hook hid their faces as they smiled for a picture.
Grace couldn't wait to see Max, and while they were talking to him, Chip distracted Captain Hook before Dale came around the corner with his arms snapping like an alligator. Captain Hook ran and hid behind the curtains, and the girls thought it was hilarious.
Winnie the Pooh and Suzy the mouse came over for more hugs before Minnie stopped by one more time.
Eeyore was so cuddly, and Charley wouldn't stop squeezing him.
Rafiki came over and played with Charley as she giggled away.
Once we finally got the girls to eat something, we headed over to Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters where Grace again wanted to ride with Daddy, so she could win. She was surprised when Mommy got the high score!
We decided to make our way to the Jingle Cruise and ran into Princess Jasmine, Aladdin, and the Genie. Grace was a little skeptical of the Genie, so she stayed by Princess Jasmine the whole time. Charley loved them all and made sure to give them all huge hugs. Aladdin told her that Pocahontas would totally love her moccasins.
We finally made it to the Jingle Cruise, and the girls loved the Christmas decorations that were all over the ride.
Next up was Tarzan's Tree House. They want to do this every time we come, and it's a bajillion stairs to the top. We went, of course, because they get whatever they want when we're in Disneyland.
Since there was literally no one at Pirates, we hopped on it one more time before heading to Winnie the Pooh.
We skipped the meet and greet with the characters after the ride, because we had just seen them all at breakfast. We settled for Elsa Pez dispensers and Jack Skellington cake pops instead.
The girls tried their hardest to remove the sword from the stone.
We devoured a dole whip float in the Enchanted Tiki Room.
We rode the boat to Storybook Land. The girls love this one, because you get to see miniature versions of all of the characters houses/castles.
Daddy took the girls on the teacups. I elected to sit this one out, just in case.
We headed back to the hotel to grab some dinner and freshen up before our big night of parades. The girls posed for a quick picture in front of the prettiest lime green and orange sparkly Christmas tree in the lobby.
Soon enough, we headed back to the park for the Monster's Inc. ride and then stopped for coffee and cotton candy.
We got a great spot for the Pixar Play Parade, and the girls played, danced, and sung with their light sabers all over the place while we waited for it to start.
When it finally came around the corner, the girls were in heaven. Every character came up to them or waved at them, as they screamed with excitement the entire time. I really wish I could have video'd the whole thing.
After the parade, we started heading for Disneyland when we ran into Goofy. We had to stop for an autograph and a picture.
When we reached the castle, we picked a spot out for the Paint the Night Parade and admired how beautiful the castle looked all lit up.
The parade started, and it was fabulous. The lights and music were incredible, and the girls were dancing and singing the entire time.
After the parade, we booked it back to our hotel before it got too crowded to get out. Luckily, we had the best view of the fireworks from our hotel balcony, so we watched them from there.
Another magical day...Disney does it again! You just cannot beat the atmosphere during the holiday season. The girls had the best time of their lives, and it seems like every time we come, it just gets better and better.
