So Many Cousins {Happy Easter}

Easter Sunday was a big event, as usual. The girls woke up with gifts from the Easter bunny, including Golden Knight shields and swords, LOL Dolls, and cute new swim suits.

Of course we had to open the toys right away and see which LOL Dolls the bunny brought.

Perry liked her chocolate bunny the best.

After we all got ready to head out of the house for the day, the girls spotted some eggs in the back yard. We had a quick egg hunt before we had to leave.

Our first stop of the day was Grammy and Papa Rick's. We hung out for a while before enjoying a yummy lunch with ham and all the sides. Then we had another egg hunt with all the cousins. The girls got super cute outfits, swim suits, and all kinds of fun goodies in their baskets.

That afternoon, we headed to Grandpa and Grandma Espejo's where the kids got to hunt for even more eggs. They got more baskets with more clothes and goodies and had fun playing with more cousins.

We celebrated Easter with Poppa and Gran and Grandma Sunshine and Papa Craig in the days before, so we weren't so crazy running around on Easter Sunday. We got to spend the whole weekend with lots of family time, which always makes our hearts full. Even though it can be chaotic at times, we are so lucky to have so many grandparents so close to us. The girls get so much love, and we all enjoy spending time with each of them.

I love that the girls have so many cousins to play with, because I remember spending time with all of my cousins as a kid, and they were some of my favorite times. They just keep on coming, too. We'll be adding a few more the rest of this year, and we can't wait. Our family sure has been blessed.

Happy Easter!

He is risen!
