...we spent a few hours at the park enjoying an absolutely gorgeous day. This UNLV sweatsuit was given to me by my Uncle Perry when I was Grace's age:

...my Uncle Perry lost a very long battle with cancer. He was one of the funniest, goofiest, strongest men I've ever known. When I was younger, my dad and I would go to his house so I could play with his two girls, and they would pitch a tent in the middle of his living room so we could all "camp out". He was the uncle that let me fill his long hair with barrettes when I was small. I will always remember him playing his guitar and teaching me the chords to Cat Scratch Fever. He was my dad's best friend and baby brother, and I can't imagine how different all our family events will be without his goofy jokes and big smile. We will never forget you Uncle Per. We will love you for always and know that someday we will meet again. I'm sorry that life took this horrible turn for you, but am also so glad that you are no longer in pain. You fought so hard and never gave up. That taught us all a lesson. Your suffering is finally over, and I'm sure you are looking down on us all happy to finally be whole again. You're forever in our hearts <3
