This pregnancy has been much different from my last (mainly because I'm not sitting around all the time waiting for baby to come): This time, I've got Grace keeping me busy from sun up 'til sun down, we've taken a couple of trips, and since we discovered the new little bun in the oven, we've celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and a couple of birthdays. Life has been absolutely insane the past few weeks, and I'm looking forward to the next few which should finally be calm(er). Another thing making this pregnancy different from when I was cooking up Gracie, is the fact that we are having another girl. I don't have to buy clothes (even though I still am), decorate a nursery, or pick out tons of registry items. Don't get me wrong, there are still things we need for a second little one, but the only super big thing we need is an awesome double stroller that will allow us to take both kiddos places together. I originally wanted the ...

Last week, we took a trip to Omaha, Nebraska. It wasn't a planned trip, but Isaac's great grandma passed away and the whole family travelled back for the funeral. We had originally planned a trip for June, so we made sure to take a whole week to get time in with all sides of the family. We didn't know we were leaving until Thursday night and had to spend extra hours Friday at work getting as much done as possible. We booked our tickets and headed to the airport first thing Saturday morning (Isaac's Dad, Kim, Zacarias, Elisha, and Elijah left Thursday night and drove there): After we checked our bags, we had to wait in line for the security check. Grace kept saying, "ahh ahh ahh". We turned around and saw that the girl in front of us had a monkey backpack.  She's such a smarty pants! I made sure to grab some apple juice and Teddy Grahams to take on the flight, and Grace was so good. She loved sitting on Daddy's lap and even got to watch Megamind...

Can you believe Grace is nineteen months old? Time flies so much faster when you have a baby! This month she got to go see Dr. Vu for a check-up and didn't even have to get any shots. She was super excited hanging out in the waiting room and even learned how to say "cars": At nineteen months, Grace weighs in at 26 pounds, 4 ounces. This puts her in the seventy-fifth percentile for weight. We absolutely love that she's so squishy. It's makes it much more fun to smother her cheeks with kisses. She is also 31 inches tall. This is in the sixtieth percentile. Baby must have gone through a growth spurt since her last check up, because she was only in the thirtieth percentile back then. This month Grace learned a lot of new words. My favorite is when we say her bedtime prayers and at the end she says, "aaaamennn". It's so precious! She's now obsessed with Elmo and says "Ah Ehmo?" for "Where's Elmo?". She's also go...

...we had Monday off of work for the New Year's holiday, and it was so nice to sleep in and get to spend an extra day with baby cakes. I think she really enjoyed being around us a little more than usual too! ...Grace played with Elmo and Cookie Monster. She has this crazy, new love for Elmo and asks for him allll the time. It's so cute when she's right in the middle of something, and stops to say, "ahh Ehmo?" (where's Elmo?): ...Grace, Noah, and Easton played with Grace's chalk that Cash got her for Christmas. They had so much fun coloring all over our sidewalk: ...we met Kasie for lunch since she had Monday off too: After we ate, we shopped around for a bit and Grace posed with the mannequins: ...we finally went out and got a Blu Ray player. Grace got a few movies for Christmas, and we haven't stopped buying movies since, because we love it so much. Grace was sleepy and totally ready for a nap when we got to the store: (Poor kid!!) So we...
