Best Sunday Ever

Isaac and I have been trying to spend our Sundays doing something fun and family-oriented.

Last weekend was Mother's Day, so we spent the day with my mom.

The Sunday before that we went to The District and spent the afternoon with my sister.

This weekend, we kept thinking of different things we could do with Grace.

We started out by going to breakfast at The Coffee Cup in Boulder City.

Apparently, it was on the show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network.

It was definitely delicious, and Grace had fun playing with different items on the table:

Next, we headed to the car wash.

I remember going every Sunday with Rick and my sisters when we were little.

He'd always get us each a treat, so we always wanted to go.

I decided to get Grace a little something to keep her entertained while we waited for the car.

She chose TWO Ty Beanie Babies from the shelf, and I told her she could only have one.

I held them both out and asked which she wanted.

Being the spoiled little girl that she is, she kept grabbing them both and hugging them really tight.

It was ThEe cutest thing ever.

I ended up hiding one and she started looking all over for it.

When I hid the second one, she didn't really care because she had the first one so that's the one we went with.

Meet Rainbow, Grace's newest friend:

They played with Daddy until we were ready to go:

After the car wash, we couldn't decide what to do.

You wouldn't think so, but there are so many fun things to do in Vegas with the family.

Finally, we settled on the Dolphin Habitat and Secret Garden at the Mirage.

Grace LoVeD it!!

We started out watching the dolphins in the main pool, and Grace kept pointing at them:

Next, we headed to the smaller pool where the dolphins swam right up to us so we could say hi:

In Sigfried and Roy's Secret Garden, Grace was afraid of the lion statue:

Although, she seemed fascinated by the "big kitties":

Grace and Daddy got to ride on a tiger:

And we saw some sleepy lions:

Daddy watched a panther, but Grace didn't seem too interested in him:

So we headed back to the dolphin habitat:

They had a really cool area where you could go underneath the pool and watch the dolphins.

They put on quite a show for us, and it was awesome since we were the only ones down there:

Grace was mesmerized:

She loved touching the glass and watching the dolphins swim in front of her:

After hours of enjoying these amazing animals, we headed to Town Square for some lunch.

We chose to eat at Tommy Bahamas because it's one of our favorite shops, and we've never tried their food.

Grace got to be a big girl and sit in a booster seat at the table with us:

She tried a bite of Daddy's GiNoRmOuS fish sandwich:

And got kisses from Mommy:

It was the Best Sunday Ever, and I'd highly recommend any of these places to you all.

Especially the dolphin habitat at the Mirage.

It's awesome to be able to get so close to the animals.

I definitely see us heading back there VERY soon!
