Love All Around

We took a mini-vacay to Utah last week to see my beautiful cousin Michaelee marry Joe Brusati.

The wedding was in a small town (don't know if you can even call it a town...there are like 5 houses) called Pintura, Utah.

Pintura is near and dear to all of our hearts, not only because my grandparents live there, but because we all grew up playing and forming life-long bonds together in this place.

The wedding couldn't have been more perfect. It had a sort of laid-back, country theme and almost all of our closest family members were there. We got to relax, catch up, and bust out some of our best dance moves. What more could you ask for?

Besides all of that, Michaelee and Joe looked amazing, and you could feel the love all around.

When we first got over to my Aunt Laura's house for the wedding, Grace's cousins took her to the chicken coop to let her gather some eggs. She was so funny chucking the eggs into the bowl, even breaking some of them. We don't get to do much of that here in Vegas, so she wasn't sure how to handle them:

While she was gathering eggs, Grandpa Rick hung out with Charley Bug:

Grandma Smith came and had to sneak in a little Charley time. We don't get to see her as much as we'd like, so I was glad that she got to spend a little time with her:

Soon, the wedding was starting, so we all got ready. Grace was the flower girl. She was a little scared, but made it down half of the aisle herself. She didn't throw any of her petals until she got to our table:

The wedding was breathtaking. I started crying before she even came down the aisle. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the night:

Someone snuck Grace a Coke, and she spent about an hour running in circles and throwing hay everywhere (the hay throwing turned into about a week of horrible allergies after we got home, but at least she had a blast):

She and Junior had fun dancing:

And so did the rest of us:

I'm so happy for you Kiki. I wish you and Joe the most blessed, happy, fulfilling marriage ever. You totally deserve it!

Congratulations!!
