Picture of the Week: Grandma Turns 80! Monday, Isaac went to Jamba Juice for lunch, and I had the yummiest açaí bowl. Perry insisted on trying to brush Toodles teeth, and he wasn't amused (but she sure was!) . We went to Ventano for dinner since Auntie Andrea and Uncle Dan were in town. Grace took selfies with Grammy, and Perry and Ava had a hug fest. Perry played hide and seek with sisters in the car and had me cracking up. She did this over and over and then would say "Your turn! Go hide!". Wednesday evening, we celebrated my Grandma's 80th birthday down at the church building. Isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen?! My first born baby that made me a mama is EIGHT years old. I can't even believe it. Like, she's half way to getting her driver's license! Grace has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She is SO empathetic and hates when anyone feels sad or upset. She's the first person to offer a hug when someone needs it. If you ask Grace what her favorite thing in the world is, she'll tell you it's snuggling with her family, without hesitation. Gracie is currently fifty inches tall, which is at the 50th percentile. She's in size eight jeans, a medium top, and size one shoes. She loves the colors pink, purple, and blue (all mixed together) and everything has to have extra glitter. I have been buying her maxi dresses lately, because those are her jam. She loves to wear a long dress with a denim vest and cute boots, even in the summer. Picture of the Week: Breakfast at Crepe Expectations Perry woke up Monday morning and couldn't wait to go see her baby birdies. My friend Brittany's son, Beckham, started going to school with Perry, and she sent me the cutest pics when she dropped him off that morning. My mom picked the girls up from school for the afternoon and took them to get Slurpees. The baby birds must've fallen out of their nest during the day, because they were all on the ground when we got home that afternoon. Perry made me stay outside with her all evening to watch the baby birds, and the Mommy bird kept flying all around us. We said good morning to them again on Tuesday. Perry can't get enough.
