Happy Half-Birthday, Charley! It's hard to believe the little stinker is already six months old. She's got two bottom teeth and two top teeth. She can fully sit up, move around to get her toys, and get up on all fours. It won't be long before she's crawling around. She can stand on her own while holding onto something for support. She easily rolls back and forth from tummy to back and vice versa. She uses her feet to push her forward while on her tummy. She's pretty good at getting whatever she's after, and is easily able to put everything in her mouth. She likes peaches and pears (when they're warm). At her six month wellness check-up, Charley weighed in at fifteen pounds and four ounces. (That's four whole pounds less than Grace weighed at this age!) She is twenty-five inches long. A Little Pipsqueak {Perry is ONE!}

The baby is ONE! I can't believe it's been a whole year since Perr Bear was born. I prayed longer and harder for this baby than anything else in my life. Mainly because she took fourteen plus months to decide to join our family. We wanted another baby so badly, and we could not have picked a more perfect fit to our crazy bunch. Perry is the sweetest little girl. She loves to lay her head on your shoulder, gives endless kisses, and has THE BEST cheese face you'll ever see. Perry recently got two of her top molars and is working on the bottom two. You can feel them and her gums are swollen. That puts baby at ten teeth. Baby girl is getting smarter by the day and can tell us what she wants or needs with ease. She loves to sign "more" when she wants me to nurse her and will walk up to her high chair and sign "more" when she's hungry for a snack. She can also sign "all done" to let us know when she wants out of the high chair. ...

Our Favorite Fall Tradition

One of our favorite fall traditions is our day trip to Staheli Farm in Utah. It's always during soccer season, so we find a Saturday when the girls have early games and drive up afterwards. This year, we got Zac and Stef to join the rest of our group. The girls were so excited to spend the day with Presley and Paxton at one of their favorite places. We got there in the early afternoon, and the weather was beautiful. It's always hit or miss with it being hot or cold, but we lucked out this year. The kids ran straight for the corn slides, and jumped right in. Brother wasn't the biggest fan. Probably due to this corn kernel that we found lodged in between his toes afterwards. Perry, on the other hand, loved it. The big girls played in the club house, while the little ones slid into the piles of corn over and over again.
