...Perry slept peacefully at Grammy's, while the girls wrapped up their swim lessons. ...Grace and Char had their last lesson, and I am so proud of how far they've come. They are both swimming on their own all over the place at every pool we go to and don't even bring floaties along anymore. We are so grateful for Miss Kellie and are sad that we won't be seeing her every week anymore. She was the best swim teacher and was so great with the girls. If you're looking for swim lessons, we highly recommend Sunsational Swim School. ...Perr also slept peacefully at work on Tuesday. I could watch this baby sleep all day, every day. She's so sweet! ...Gracie lost one of her bottom teeth to bring the total to FIVE. Say what?! ...Perry is growing fast, and the Dockatot is still her bed of choice. She now likes to prop her leg up over the side while she sleeps. ...she's also talking up a storm lately, and our afternoon chats are one...
This past weekend, we took a much needed break from Vegas and went up the the cabin to enjoy some amazingly beautiful weather with my mom, Rick, Jeni, and Allison. Friday night we ate dinner at one of our favorite places, Buffalo Bistro . They serve the oddest food (like rattlesnake tails, boar ribs, and rocky mountain oysters), but they have the best steak you'll ever eat!! She played with it while we were on our ride and liked her bracelet and the crinkly money the best. When we got back, we decided to make some breakfast. We were going to cook up this little ham, ...
Picture of the Week: Back to School The girls had their first day of school , and it went great. Monday, we started the Keto diet. I don't like to call it that, because we aren't on a "diet". We are eating minimal carbs (under 20g per day) and high fat and are also mostly feeding our kids the same thing. Watch The Magic Pill on Netflix, and you'll get it. We're buying as organically and wholly as possible with the least amount of chemicals in our foods in an effort to keep our bodies healthy and our minds working at their best. We started off by letting some pork cook in the slow cooker all day and made some zucchini noodles to go with it. It was delicious, and at least Perry couldn't get enough. Grace and Char fought us on the zucchini a bit, but they both ended up eating some in exchange for dessert (chocolate peanut butter balls that we homemade with no sugar and added MCT oil) . Perry insisted on wearing her lamb slippers...
