The Best Vacation Yet

I've wanted to go to Nashville for years, and this year I was finally able to go.

My family went on a trip to attend the CMA Festival this June.

It's basically a week long celebration of country music concerts in the heart of downtown Nashville.

There were concerts all day long on the river front and in a few other places all within walking distance of each other.

The best ones were all from 7-midnight in the Titans stadium (can you say heaven?!).

Every night around five, we'd find a place to grab dinner (Jack's Bar-B-Que and Wildhorse Saloon are DeLiCiOuS!) and then head to LP Field to watch the big artists in action.

We read on the tickets that strollers weren't allowed, so we brought our Baby Bjorn along.

After eating a yummy dinner, Grace was ready for bed and fell asleep right on Daddy's back on the way into the stadium:

There were so many unbelievable concerts that it's hard to list them all.

I'll run through some of my favorites:

Zac Brown Band with Alan Jackson

Lady Antebellum

Sara Evans and Martina McBride

Dierks Bentley

Keith Urban

The Band Perry

Darius Rucker

And many, many more including Sugarland, Jason Aldean, and Blake Shelton.

Every night was better than the one before, and the line-ups were unbelievable!

We had such a great time. It was pretty hot and horribly a little humid, but with spray fans and frozen lemonade, we made it through.

Grace did so good, too.

She clapped for her favorites:

And didn't mind sleeping through the show when she got tired:

Here's a look inside LP Field during one of the nightly concerts (Zac Brown Band):

How amazing is that? So many people gathered together to enjoy the best country music.

While we were there, we also visited the Jack Daniels Distillery (you can read all about that here).

This was definitely one of the funnest trips we've ever taken, and having Grace with us made it that much more special.

We got some great pictures.

Enjoy:

And the best part of all...I finally got to see LP Field (the Tennessee Titans home field) in real life and it was AwEsOmE!! I can't wait to go back as soon as possible. Tennessee is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.  Thank you mom (sooooo much) for this trip. We had a great time and made some wonderful memories!
