Day Twenty-One - My Favorite T.V. Show

This one is actually kind of hard.

I've got tons of shows that I love but never have time to watch.

I'm a sucker for Teen Mom and Secret Life of the American Teenager,

(even though my husband makes fun of me for it)

I think my favorite, favorite has to be:

True Blood:


(Which premieres this weekend...YAYAYA!!)

Something about vampires just entices me.

I couldn't put the books down throughout my whole pregnancy, and I was convinced Grace would be born with fangs.

Don't worry...

She wasn't.

Although it's too early to tell if she'll have a biting habit.

...Char was sleeping so peacefully Monday morning that I didn't want to wake her up. ...she made me a pretty picture at school with chalk. ...she continued her obsession with the easel and colored (and watched Toy Story ) while waiting for Daddy to get home from work. Mommy-Daughter Night

Thursday night, Isaac went to play poker with some of Sunstate's biggest customers (and soon to be customers). Since he left around 4:30 and didn't come home until well after Grace and I were asleep, we got to have a whole mommy-daughter night! I get to spend every night with her, but having quality time with just the two of us is pretty rare. This means that nights alone with mom get to be extra special treats for both of us! When Daddy left, Grace asked "ah da da?" about one hundred times. Once she got over the fact that he was gone, we had a lot of fun. We started the night out watching Wall-E and building castles out of Mega Blocks. Then, Grace helped me unload the dishwasher while our dinner finished cooking: She's the best helper ever! Junior Ranger Day

Saturday was Junior Ranger Day at the Water Safety Center at Lake Mead.   Isaac's brother, Zacarias, was working and invited us to come down and check it out.   We're always up for anything that the girls might have fun at, so we got ready and headed down to the lake. It was right next to where my parents dock their boat, so it was pretty easy to find.   When we first got there, Grace was a little shy and skeptical about everything. It took her a while to warm up.   We found Uncle Zac by the fire truck and Grace hesitantly climbed inside with him:     She was a little afraid until I took her to the front of the trucks and showed her the lights.
