Baby Bug

My little Charley Bug is already seven months old.   She is so dainty and girly, but this month she has really started to feel solid. When you pick her up, she's more compact and full.  She has long, curled lashes and the best lips ever. Her hair is darker than Grace's and will probably be more like mine. It seems straight and thick and has started to grow a little faster. At seven months, I think we can officially say Charley is a crawler. She moves from one side of the room to the other so quickly. She rolls, scoots, and now she can get up on all fours and get where she's going. She loves to eat pouches just like Gracie did.  Her favorites are sweet potatoes, chicken and brown rice, and peaches. She has six teeth - the two middle bottom ones and her top four front teeth. She loves to jump up and down in her bouncer. Charley is wearing size 6-12 months although it's pretty big on her. She can still fit into her 3-6 month...

A Few More Weeks

I'm sure by now, you all know who Kasie is (she's in lots of my prior posts) . She's one of my bestest friends and one of the sweetest, most beautiful, happy, fun-loving people that I've ever met. Since her wedding is coming up soon, us girls all gathered together to celebrate at her bridal shower. Bethany, Kasie's Made of Honor and another super funny, gorgeous friend of mine from high school/middle school , did an amazing job hosting the shower:  She had some of the cutest decorations ever. She did a little country theme, and it was perfect. Check out the uber cute set up: As the shower got rolling, everyone hung out, ate, and chatted: Then the games began. The best one by far was "How Well Do You Know the Groom?" Last Week...

...Daddy played Let's Go Fishin' with the girls. It's one of their favorites, and they like to see who can capture the most fish and hoard them and not let anyone else take them ever. ...Char got ready for bed with her princesses. ...the girls Mariota jerseys came in, and I got them the cutest Titans moccasins ever. They were custom ordered, and the lady also sent us two adorable matching headbands at no charge. Those are the best kind of headbands! ...Gracie sang a song from My Little Pony , and Char tried to keep up. ...we stopped by Poppa and Grandma's, and Poppa gave the girls ice cream cones to eat while they watched TV. ...they spent the evening jumping on the trampoline with Daddy and wore him out. (Those giggles are the best!) ...Grace started sleeping at the top of the bed (as opposed to the foot of the bed where she typically sleeps) , and the girls were back to their sweet cuddles sessions every night. ...
