Day Seventeen - What I Wore Yesterday

Yesterday was a work day, so I wore a pair of jeans, flip flops, and this cute t-shirt that I got from a store called Roper in Nashville:


It's nice to be able to wear whatever I want to work.

Definitely one of the perks that made me decide to take the job seven years ago!

...Char was sleeping so peacefully Monday morning that I didn't want to wake her up. ...she made me a pretty picture at school with chalk. ...she continued her obsession with the easel and colored (and watched Toy Story ) while waiting for Daddy to get home from work. Hooray for panties! ...it got cold and windy again, but we played outside anyways. Smarty Pants

Can you believe Grace is nineteen months old? Time flies so much faster when you have a baby! This month she got to go see Dr. Vu for a check-up and didn't even have to get any shots. She was super excited hanging out in the waiting room and even learned how to say "cars": At nineteen months, Grace weighs in at 26 pounds, 4 ounces. This puts her in the seventy-fifth percentile for weight. We absolutely love that she's so squishy. It's makes it much more fun to smother her cheeks with kisses. She is also 31 inches tall. This is in the sixtieth percentile. Baby must have gone through a growth spurt since her last check up, because she was only in the thirtieth percentile back then. This month Grace learned a lot of new words. My favorite is when we say her bedtime prayers and at the end she says, "aaaamennn". It's so precious! She's now obsessed with Elmo and says "Ah Ehmo?" for "Where's Elmo?". She's also go...

Charley turns FIVE!

Char Char, the five year old. That doesn't even seem real. This girl has grown and changed so much over the past couple of months. She's lost her toddler look and is total big girl status these days. (She does still have her chipmunk voice, so at least I can hang on to that.) Charley will be starting Kindergarten soon, and we have her orientation this upcoming weekend. I'm not ready for that. With Grace, I was so excited. Charley still feels like a baby to me. She, on the other hand, cannot wait to join her big sis and the Sebastian boys at school every day. Charley recently had a doctor's appointment where they told her she didn't need any shots, and she was so happy after anticipating them all day. She weighed in at forty pounds and stands forty-four inches tall. She's in the fiftieth percentile for weight and the seventy-fifth for height. She is in size five in almost everything and is wearing a size ten in shoes. Char loves her dresses a...
