Two days after Christmas is Kasie Marie's birthday. Since she turned 25 this year, we decided to get together to celebrate. Our plan was to head up to Mt. Charleston, go sledding, and then come back home to a nice big pot of chili. Unfortunately, there was an avalanche warning on the mountain. Instead, we had a game night. Kelli and Eddie came over early to help make chili, and cupcakes for Kasie. While they were there, we exchanged Christmas gifts. I got some of my blue kitchen accessories I've been dreaming about. I'm SoOo ExCiTeD to collect them all. They brought Grace a stuffed puppy named Violet that learned her name and teaches her how to spell it.  Violet also knows that Grace's favorite food is sweet potatoes, and her favorite color is pink. Squishes and Kisses {3 Months}

Baby Brother is three months old! That's one quarter of his first year already. He's really a happy baby. He's always kicking his little legs and is smiling more and more every day. He only cries if he's hungry, and you've ignored the previous five minutes of him grunting and yelling "meh!". I like to think he's really trying to yell "ma!". He still goes by Brother, but we've also been calling him Bro Bro, Brother Bear, Buddy, and Brudder. Whenever Perry comes close, she tells us to say, "sister is here". She'll get upset if you say, "There's Perr Perr", and quickly reminds us, "No! Say 'there's sister!'" Brother is weighing in at thirteen pounds and is twenty-four and a half inches long. He's really getting chubby and has lots of rolls all over. For those keeping record, Grace was fifteen, Char was eleven and a half, and Perry was twelve pounds.   He's...

Our Favorite Thing {Six Months Old}

We're halfway through Brother's first year, and I'm not sure how we got here. Maybe it's because I'm mostly a mombie (that's a zombie mixed with a mom that's getting minimal sleep for those that don't know) lately, but I feel like we were just gearing up to head to the hospital to welcome a baby boy to the family. I blinked, and he's six months old. Like, what? He's the best. Seriously. He just looks at anyone he meets and gives them the biggest grin. All of the guys at work come in to my office and talk to him and then die when he smiles at them. They say, "I can't believe he smiles at me every time! He must like me!", but he really does that with everyone. He's just the sweetest. He's laughing a little bit more here and there, but we're still waiting on that big belly laugh. Right now it's just little giggles and super loud squeals. He's rolling back and forth with ease and will roll across the room...
