Picture of the Week: Playing at the Park Monday was Labor Day, and since we were all off work/school, we spent the morning at the park playing in the gorgeous weather. We hit up the Halloween store, because that's one of Daddy and the girls' favorite things to do. They always open the first weekend in September, and you bet these weirdos were counting down the days. She sang in the car on the way home. The girls helped me make some turkey meatballs, and they turned out so good. We ate them over some zucchini noodles with red sauce. We went through the girls backpacks to get them ready for school the next day. They love to show us their artwork that they bring home. Grace's class celebrated all of the summer birthdays, and her teacher made them some cute little gifts. Perry and Brielle played together at school, and their teacher sent me these cute pictures. Picture of the Week: Happy Mother's Day! Charley finally got to hold the baby chicks at school, and she couldn't stop talking about them for the rest of the day. The Sharks tweeted that they scored as many goals in one game as the Kings did in their entire series with us. The Kings clapped back with the best response: "and then what happened?". Of course we all know what happened, the Knights beat the Sharks and sent them packing, too. On the way home from checking the mail, we had to stop to let these little baby quail cross the street. They were so adorable and tiny. We got Gracie's soccer pictures back, and girlfriend looks so grown up and beautiful. These are my favorite soccer pictures we've ever gotten of her. We love the girls on her team so much. Most of them go to school with her and are even in her class, so it's nice that they get to play together. That night, the Washington Capitals beat ...
...we finally got our pictures back that we took last month with my mom's family. Poor Gracie was feeling pretty sick, but Charley hammed it up and stole the show in all of them.
